Radioactive EVS project will capitalise on the achievements of a 3.2 project of the same name which Everything Possible CIC will have coordinated over the previous year. Radioactive EVS will facilitate organisations active in the field of youth wishing to support young people through the medium of radio. We have already created local activities to support young people engaging in a non-formal education programme using radio as a tool for cooperation and intercultural dialogue. Radioactive EVS will allow us to move local radio activity to an international platform. Partners from UK, Sardinia, Indonesia and the Philippines will mobilise 30 volunteers with fewer opportunities within our network of community volunteering opportunities on projects with a duration of between 2 and 4 weeks. Radioactive 3.2 has been a building block for this project and allowed us to support eighty young people in a local context. Many of these young people have begun to communicate internationally through airwave and web radio and this has widened their horizons. We would like to capitalise on the success of this project, moving forward to offer opportunities for international youth mobility, allowing some of these beneficiaries the chance to experience an international radio project, helping volunteers gain key skills through non-formal learning offered by partners. The creative focus will remain and Radioactive EVS will allow partners to offer further opportunities in radio and other creative fields. Young people will undertake volunteering activities between 2 - 4 weeks on group activities. The diversity of activities will allow us to offer opportunities to skilled young people wishing to contribute to a local community activity as well as young people with fewer opportunities wanting to undertake their first international experience and gain new skills and experiences in this thematic field.
