The Federation of the volunteering of Verona ONLUS is a non profit association that manages the Service Centre of Volunteering of the Province of Verona. The association has differents objectives such as the promotion of volunteering and the culture of solidarity between young people, by giving them informations about local associations and projects and also european opportunities. We belive that the participation of european volunteers in projects of solidarity that are strongly connected with the local community is very usefull to promote the active citizenship. We propose to welcome two volunteers for 10 month from the 01 of September 2015 until the 30 of June 2016 that will have to be motivated for the themes that we developp as Federation (youth politics, european projects, mobility promotion, partnership research and communication sector), to have a disposition for office work, to be able to work in a team, to adapt in a different environment, to have a will to get to know the association world, to be open with his coworkers. To the volunteer, it will not be asked to have specific competence other than to be between 17 and 30 years old. The EVS volunteers will be integrated in the youth sector "Young people and volunteering, EVS sector"and in the communication sector, and they will support us with all the activities from these sectors. For example, he/she will help us with the promotion of volunteering in the schools areas from the veronese territory thanks to direct testimonial on the EVS experience and the Erasmus+ Programm, always supported by the responsible of the sector; he/she will help us to promote EVS project to other no profit organisation that want to host EVS volunteers. He/she will help us to do research partnership for future collaboration for Erasmus+ projects (contact with accredidated associations for EVS, presentation of the hosting association etc.) The EVS volunteers will be integrated in the communication sector, he/she will try to narrate, through digital way, the different projects of Federation in youth sector and they will document, with innovative methods (for exemple digita storytelling), his/her experience and their skills that they have learned. The volunteers will narrate the EVS project, what it is and what can left to volunteers, in this way this experience can be more comprehensible for other young people. The purpose is to realize a web portal where the volunteers can load all digital storytelling and so the citizenship can see this. The current web site of Federation is much visited and this is so important for promote the EVS experience. The EVS volunteers, during their project, will supported by the staff of Federation. The partecipant will be inserted in the activities thanks to the methods of non formal education, learning by doing.He/she will be included in different sectors managed by different collaborators , we will explain how the youth sector works and will be included in the different activities carried out, we will also gice space to the volunteer to propose his/her ideas or to develop his/her personal project. The volunteers could take part at all different course that the Federation organizes for her organisations. The volunteers can choose the course that they prefer and which are most useful for their future career. With this project we want to see grow up the personals and professionals skills of our volunteers, but another purpose is narrate and communicate the experience of volunteers and hope that this could help them in their future of European citizen.
