"Quality Europe" project is designed to respond to Salesianos Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Zaragoza centre´s needs and to support achieving Salesianos main goal that is to constantly improve quality. Simultaneously, the project corresponds to all objectives mentioned in the strategic framework “Educación y Formación 2020” (Education 2020). In total, the project last 24 months and covers courses delivered in 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. Within this period, 10 teachers from our centre will participate in courses or seminars of 6 days that will be divided in 5 blocks consisting of various courses (each one will be assisted by 2 lecturers). All courses cover topics related to ICT and are as follow: Learning By Doing, Boost Your Entrepreneurial Spirit, CLIL, Keys To Communication Success and Educational coaching tools. Some of them will be delivered in Cracow (Poland) and other in Manchester (the United Kingdom). Teachers participating in the programme mentioned above are expected to acquire following competences: - ICT: this course focuses on learning about useful IT tool at educational and organizational level. - Boost Your Entrepreneurial Spirit: the main goal is to familiarize students with a culture of entrepreneurship. Participants familiarize themselves with tools serving for self-development. - CLIL: bilingual classes concentrating on emerging methods of teaching with the usage of various materials and contents. - Keys To Communication Success: gaining from communication between teachers and students using various techniques, different from the ones normally used. - Educational coaching tools: teaching staff learn how to motivate each other in professional and private life, and how to motivate students. The selection of courses is a result of various meetings between Managing Team and European Projects Team. The main conclusion of these sessions is that to improve the quality of the centre´s performance it is necessary to better respond to needs of the teaching stuff. We expect to achieve the following short-term, mid-term and long-term results:- Improve working atmosphere and strengthen fellowship- Motivate changes in the form the classes are given and motivate implementing new teaching methods. - Enable easier, better, more understandable and more effective communication between students and teachers - Bilingual classes will be programmed and delivered according to CLIC methodology - Learning outcomes will be better both on the side of teachers and students- New measures will be implemented to boost entrepreneurial attitude among students- Assure better understanding of benefits from using new technologies among teachers.The projects and its result will enable the Salesianos centre to provide its students with high quality education that will directly affect educational and social competences of students.
