Putting good health on the menu "is the title of our project that we plan to implement 12 to 19 September 2015. This project will work with organizations working with young people and promotıng youth initiavives in the following countries - Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Turkey , Greece, Latvia and Italy. There will be 35 participants aged 18-25 years, and each group will be composed of an equal number of boys-girls, 5 participants and a leader of all ages. We chose Pelion as location after Pelion collects 1 / 3 of the world's wealth in land herbs', it's rich in natural beauty and is an extremely picturesque and traditional landscape with many opportunities for outdoor activities. The activities of the weekly schedule, follow the methods of non-formal learning and education through presentations, games, simulation exercises, creative pursuits, participants will understand the important benefits of proper and balanced diet, the importance of the Mediterranean diet, they will learn what to be careful of and how to eat in order to obtain the necessary data and vitamins and recognize the causes and consequences of obesity. At the end of the project we will create a guide for proper diet which will be distributed in the final report on the last day in the main square which will be organized in order to get more effect of the results of the project. In addition we will organize cultural evenings in order to accomplish more effective interaction of participants and exchanging of cultures of different countries participating. Finally, photographs, videos, project elements will published in our social networks.
