PROMOTERS is a learning mobility project carried out by 6 organizations from the following countries: Romania, Italy, Jordan, FYROM and Turkey offering a learning experience for 15 volunteers to develop key competencies, transferable into different working environments. The project envisages better prepared volunteers to admissions to next level of education, to better access a job, or to develop entrepreneurial initiatives, after the mobility. Promoters project is implemented by Organizatia Tinerilor cu Initiativa - Arad Branch, during 22 months. Within the project 15 volunteers will be hosted in Arad. The mobilities are divided on 3 successive series, hosting 5 volunteers, during 5 months each. The project aims to increase the employability, social and civic competencies for the volunteers involved. Promoters Objectives are linked with EVS objectives, aiming to increase the abilities of youngsters and to develop competencies for better social and professional integration: 1. Development of transversal competencies within intercultural contexts for 15 volunteers, during EVS mobilities, lasting 5 months; 2. Establishing a tailored non-formal educational programme, using Romanian and international tales, for 150 children from Arad.
Activities designed for this goals will involve actively the volunteers, facing learning experiences for developing competencies and working abilities for volunteers. Activities are complex involving: children, youngsters, workers and volunteers form local ngo’s, people working with youth, such as, teachers, educators, parents. A. 1. Promoters for Non-formal education, with emphasis on opportunities provided by Erasmus + Programme; A. 2. Promoters of European Capital of Youth - Cluj Napoca 2015; A. 3. Storytelling Promoters; A. 4. Promoters for inter-generational activities and reconciliation of family with working life. Main results are competencies gained by the 15 volunteers. In addition, the project envisages the following results: promotional tutorial and marketing for NGO, tools and methods for EVS projects, financed by Erasmus +; exhibition stand, included in activities performed at Cluj Napoca 2015 - European Capital of Youth Events. The project will provide intercultural learning opportunities for 15 volunteers, to gain professional and personal competencies. Partners will strengthen a long-term relationship. Project will have a long-term impact in local hosting community, due to the large number of people involved in the activities, as well in the sending communities, according to dissemination measures implemented.
