PROJECT
FINISHED
Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium wants to intensify its European profile. Besides the existing language trips and exchange programmes to enhance intercultural skills and improve our students' language skills we want to initiate further European projects in order to better prepare our students for their future role as cititzens of Europe and the requirements of the European labour market.
In order to reach this aim one teacher of our school will be sent to the course "Project management for cross-cultural exchange projects in Europe". On the one hand she will be a competent multiplier within our school concerning the organisation of projects after having completed this course. On the other hand she attends the course with teachers from other European countries, who might be potential partners for e-twinning projects or school exchange programmes.
The teacher sent to this course teaches Englisch and therefore has excellent language skills. In the past she already attended training courses abroad. It was her who implemented the process of European project work at our school and together with a group of colleagues she plans a school project according to Key Action 1.
Our aim is to strengthen our students' language, social and cross-cultural skills through European project work and therefore educate them in becoming a responsible personality.
