TEACHERS IN ACTION We aim to gain the skill of using digital technologies in our lessons effectively and to gain the skills of the 21st century.Our basic aim is to maintain Fatif project and to compare traditional education system with the PROJECT BASED system.Therefore teachers have to learn about innovative methods and share their experiences with the other collegues when they return to their country.They will have opportunity to share experiences with course participants by learning from each other.There will be lots of activities to support learning,communication and self assesment.We want our teachers and students to gain the abilities of critical thinking,creativity,communication and cooperation and also using digital technologies efficiently in classroom.In order to get information efficiently and use it correctly, we will use e- learning system which enables teachers and students learn anytime and anywhere.By creating e twinning projects we will be able to communicate and collaborate other schools in Europe.Now we have projects on e-twinning platform but we have difficulties to find partners.For this reason, we haven't applied to comenius projects yet.If we attend these courses we will find the right e- twinning partners and collaborate with European schools. Actıvıtıes in Ireland:Website design for the classroom environment,using interactive software in classroom,digital storytelling,e twinning activities,blogging,using survey sites with students. -Using interactive software with the students,animation in classroom -Designing a virtual learning environment,digital storytelling,e-twinning project work-collaborative presentation,city tour. Activities in Paris:Innovative activities,discussions,role play,activities for using four skills of speaking,listening,reading and writing,city tour,cultural programmes. Activities in Prague: Lesson planning, classroom management,teaching grammar, teaching vocabulary,teaching pronunciation and intonation, listening lessons,reading lessons,speaking lessons,writing lessons,theatre activities,developing critical thinking,learner centered methodologies (TBL, PBL, IBL),CLIL,individual projects and presentation,City Tour. METHODOLOGY:21ST century methodologies,innovative methods,communicative approach,project based learning,group work, student-centred pedagogical approaches EFFECTS:Teachers and students,all school staff will be able to use modern technologies efficiently and adopt them different students groups.Students will be able to work in a group and create new projects.These projects will be carried to Europe and this will allow us exchange ideas with the European schools and collaborate with them.So our projects and our school will be known all over the Europe.Teachers will improve the level of key competences and IT skills and use their e-learning platform effectively.Participants will competently be able to use a far wider range of modern technologies to assist them in teaching and learning process.The abilty to utulise 21st century skills will be gained.Participants will be able to competently and comfortably use relavant platforms(e twinning).Students will be advantaged by a more collaborative approach to teaching and learning as a result of their teacher's new competencies.
