PROJECT
FINISHED
Our planned project "Professionalisierung der internationalen Zusammenarbeit" is not a closed project as such but rather a combination of different continuing education courses aiming at an improvement of our skills for foreign school activities.
We have already conducted several foreign school projects. Due to a change in our staff we have two new colleagues who are joining our team.
One of our new colleagues does not have international project experience yet. A management training for international school projects would help him to suport our team in the most constructive way. He could acquire the necessary skills and thus support our team in all management tasks.
Our next planned international project, which will be coordinated by a Spanish school, has a strong focus on the usage of new media. Due to limited knowledge and experience of our team-members in this field ( e.g. setup of webpages, videos, podcasts, working with moodle-platforms, organization of video conferences) it is crucial that we enhance our technical skills. A course that teaches the professional and effective hands-on operation would be very helpful.
After intensive refurbishment our school is technically well equipped with electronic media devices. The teachers, however, are not adequately trained for a contemporary application of the new technical facilities. Therefore we wish to apply for an additional ICT course for two of our colleagues. Both teachers will then act as multiplicators for all of our school departments. An important part of our school objectives is the introduction of ipads both for our international projects and for tuition. The introduction is focused first on classes which take part in international projects. In a later step it is intended to expand the usage of ipads to all classes.
As a result of a training course for one member of the school board and one person from our internal quality management team we expect to profit from experiences and knowledge of other schools and programme.
The experiences from the ICT course will first be used and refined in our new erasmus+ project and in our current project with schools from Sicily and Austria. The partner school from Sicily is already using ipads in a test programme. An exchange of ICT know-how is also already part of the project. Based on the experiences from these programs we will introduce the usage of ipads throughout the whole school.
