The proposal aims at the elaboration of a methodology for the analysis and evaluation of professional practices related to the prevention of social and cultural marginalization of young people. The proposed methodology is based on a good practice guide and a specific activity referential, adopting the action-research process and facilitating the connection between professional practice and vocational training. The project intends to develop a regulation tool to be used in different situations. It targets specifically social workers, students in the same area, organisations working with young people with difficulties with regard to social, economic and cultural integration, social work training providers. The expected impact consists of improving the practices for preventing the risk of marginalisation, strengthening the procedures of analysis and evaluation of vocational practices, and a longer-term harmonisation of validation procedures of non-formal and informal learning. It will be achieved via dissemination of the results through seminars, website, media campaign, networking.
