The PRO.F.USE project will enhance existing techniques and further develop innovative tools with regard to professional education and guidance for all. As a result, the project expects to increase the capability of all employees for education, self-education and continuous learning (lifelong learning) within companies, contributing to an overall improvement of corporate competitiveness. Furthermore, the project aims at promoting co-operation amongst SMEs in order to increase individual competitiveness and to create new employment opportunity. End project results will comprise a needs analysis covering types of disability, an evaluation tool to be used in order to classify different disabilities, several prototypes for use by end-users, support guidelines, a series of training modules and an annual training award. Dissemination will comprise establishment of a dedicated project website, the hosting of local and transnational seminars and the creation of a network of experts in the field. Primary project beneficiaries include owners and managers of SMEs, particularly those willing to consider innovative design and production processes in order to enlarge their potential clients, particularly taking into account persons with disabilities.
