One of the main targets of European educational strategy is to reduce the number of students with incomplete basic education by the year 2020. The Policy of Latvian youth for 2009 - 2018 highlights that some groups of young people demand additional support.It has been stressed out that in order to make the situation to the better, children and young people who are at social risk should be supported with special additional programs, projects.The majority of learners at Jelgava Evening (shift) Secondary School (hereinafter JVMV) are the children and young people, who are considered to be at risk of bad social conditions, including Roma youth. So, the target of JVMV is to provide an opportunity for these children and young people to get basic and secondary education for their better integrating into the labor market. In order to reduce the number of students with incomplete basic education and in order to prevent learners from this risk, JVMV has developed a complex of different approaches: prevention, intervention and compensation measures. However, the results are not always successful.Due to the fact mentioned above, one of the JVMV strategies is to share and exchange the experience of work with young people who are at social risk and consequently, at risk of having incomplete basic education. Its implementation is planned for 2 learning mobility - course "Astronomy Adventures in the Canary Islands" in Spain, the Canary Islands 07.25.2016. - 07.29.2016. and the course "Coaching in Educational Contexts to Reduce early school leaving" in Spain, Madrid 04.03.2017.-03.10.2017.The Erasmus + learning mobility project "Early school leaving risk reduction in Jelgava evening (shift) secondary school" has been organized to build a modern, dynamic, and more successful environment at JVMV by integrating best practices and innovative methods into practice. It will be very helpful experience for providing more favorable atmosphere at JVMV for learners at social risk and consequently, to reduce the number of students with incomplete basic education.Erasmus+ mobility project directly is planned to involve one JVMV teachers mobility drive to the course "Astronomy Adventures in the Canary Islands" and the three teachers mobility drive to the course "Coaching in Educational Contexts to Reduce early school leaving." Indirectly is planned to involve about 20 JVMV teachers in the learning group, learn new skills of mobility participants and approximately 20 Jelgava science and physics teachers and 20 Jelgava school administration representatives experience in distribution activities.The choice of participants of the program Erasmus + will promote the integration of the experience and competences acquired while this program into the teaching process, JVMV development in order to reduce the number of students with incomplete basic education and in order to prevent learners from this risk.The project procedure:1. The preparation phase - the choice of the mobility projects, personnel selection, the development of the European advancement plan, the participants’ linguistic and pedagogical practice, travelling arrangements, the arrangement of The Europass Mobility document receiving;2. The Erasmus + learning mobility project implementation: The Erasmus + mobility program travel to course "Astronomy Adventures in the Canary Islands" in Spain, the Canary Islands 07.25.2016 - 07.29.2016 and the course "Coaching in Educational Contexts to Reduce early school leaving" in Spain, Madrid 04.03.2017.-03.10.2017.3. The follow-up phase: the JVMV learning group organization, its work coordination and implementation of its recommendations into JVMV everyday pedagogical process, then evaluation of its results. The following goals have been set:1. The Erasmus + learning mobility project participants’ linguistic and pedagogical skills development;2. The competence of dealing with the students who are at risk of not finishing the school;3. The change of the JVMV staff’s attitude;4. The application of the experience into everyday learning process and other skills development;5. The new approaches of raising students’ interest to successful learning;6. Opportunities for teachers in Jelgava and other educators to improve their knowledge of the new approaches of students’ motivations to study and to finish their education successfully;7. The last but not the least, to evaluate the effectiveness of the project, to investigate to what extend the project has achieved its goals;8. To set up new tasks for the further development.
