The EVS project Prevention programme for children, including two volunteers from Bosnia and Hercegovina (Banja Luka) and one form Slovenia (Novo mesto) will take place in Novo mesto and Trst (Italy). Along with local volunteers and relevant professionals, the volunteers will actively participate in planning and carrying out programmes for children having problems with social integration: homework and study help, creative and social workshops, sports and social activities.
The project is aimed at offering the volunteers an opportunity to gain life and other skills, intercultural experience and mobility, and to expand his/her social network through activities that promote social integration and empowerment of socially excluded groups, in particular Roma and migrants. The project thus focuses on minorities and Roma community. The project will last 24 months.
