Preventing Drug Addiction Is Everybody’s Problem
Preventing Drug Addiction Is Everybody’s Problem
Drug addiction is one of the dangers of the modern society, and its first victims are teenagers. This Project intends to prevent our pupils from becoming addicted to any legal (alcohol, cigarettes), or illegal drug, from ruining not only their health, but their social life and their future, as well. We intend to do that by involving our students and staff, students’ families, and the whole community. The activities we have projected, designing materials meant to inform and prevent, exhibitions with anti-drug posters, street campaigns, meetings with parents – students – teachers – community representatives, will lead to creating a responsible attitude towards this problem. The final products: an informative leaflet, a website on this theme, posters, will be useful not only for the schools involved in this project, but also for all youth organisations, so that the whole community will benefit from it. The Project activities tend to develop good relationships between students – school – family, team work, communication skills, artistic skills, citizenship, openness towards other cultures, self-respect, and the conscience that teenagers can be directly responsible for their future, that they are part of a larger community.
