During the mobility period abroad, the students will work in groups of 2-3 students, for 6 hours daily and will perform practical activities specific for their school level and specialty. The students will write daily in a work notebook about the observation charts, the activities carried out, the operating parameters, the verification methods and means, the tools and instruments used to assembly/verify/monitor.
At the end of the mobility abroad carried out in real work environment and at professional exigency standards specific for VET institutions and European companies, students will improve professional competences specific for the qualifications mentioned. Thus they will be able to analyse, use and mount different modules and equipment used in Electronics and Telecommunication and also will poses the necessary skills to carry out relevant measurements in environmental protection, becoming more responsible towards the work place. At the same time they will develop skills to use modern equipment and latest generation technologies in their domains of qualification and will improve fluency and understanding of messages and technical instructions in English and Italian languages. Increasing social and personal abilities (team work, self-esteem, personal and professional motivation) will enlarge chances of employment at graduation in the domains of qualification at Romanian and European companies and will also enable them to set up their own business in the targeted domain.
The Europass and Tellus 'Preparation for working life' certificates awarded with credits and acknowledged at European level as a result of evaluation and monitoring of the students within the work- based learning during the mobility period abroad will be accompanied by each student’s portfolio. These will illustrate and function as an instrument to measure the impact of the acquired competences, improved linguistic, intercultural, social and personal abilities.
The project will also have an impact on the school in terms of raising the quality of technical training, as well as the local, regional and national prestige of the school.
