The project "Practical experience abroad" did offer persons in the vocational training in the frame of a Poolproject during the two years duration from different professions the possibility to do an internship in Southengland. These participants could participate at an online English course in preparation and do the internship according to their professional background. Our intermediate organisation in South England is "The Training Partnership" with more than 100 cooperating companies in Torbay region. Part of the project was it to send as well pupils of the vocational training school to become pre-school educators/ educators. In this part of the project FAIRbund e.V. cooperates with the Mitteldeutsche Bildungsinstitut - a vocational institution for educators and other professions in the health and social sector. The trainees did go for a two week practical training in kindergartens, youth clubs or in afterschool clubs to the countries Finnland, England, Austria and Italy. The contents of the internships have been defined before the practical training takes place in accordance with the vocational training school so that the participants have these two weeks accepted as an integral part of their educational plan. In the frame of the project as well educational experts in the profession "educator" , leading educators from kindergartens and social pedagogues could go for educational programmes to Finnland, Austria and Italy to the topics of early childhood education, inclusion, Pikler-pedagogy and Reggio-pedagogy. These educational programmes have a duration of maximum 1 week.
