“Foreign internship as a key to success” is the mobility project for students from Technical High School in Sienno. 90% of participants come from rural areas. The participants are students from grade 2 and grade 3 who are studying for the following professions:-car technician-logistics technician-building and construction technicianTwo trips have been planned in the project, in which 30 students will take part. The first and second group will include 5 students of each learning profile (car technician, logistics technician, building and construction technician). The internship will take place in February 2017 and May 2018. Each group will be accompanied by an English-speaking supervisor. The main project activity is to organize preparations for the trips abroad. The preparations will include 36 hours of English course, 10 hours of workshops with a psychologist /educationalist and a briefing with the Partner on mental and cultural differences between the countries. The students will take an internship in Irish mechanical, logistics and construction enterprises, the list of which will be provided by the Partner. The enterprises will be selected in accordance with students’ level of knowledge, competence, experience and expectations. The students and the supervisor will be offered free plane tickets, accommodation and meals. The students of building and construction will receive OSH training. What is more all the students will attend a complimentary 20-hour English course provided by the Partner. At the weekends and in the evenings the Partner will organize cultural and educational trips and meetings with Irish culture and music.In the Irish enterprises, the students will work 20 days. The internship will include 120-160 hours. Throughout the stay abroad a monitoring via phone and the Internet will be carried out regularly. Tools such as Europass-Mobility and Europass-Language Passport will be used in the project.The main objectives of the project are to equalize educational opportunities for young people living in rural areas, to improve the key competence of the participants and to boost their personal and professional development. The project aims to improve the quality of schooling by using European tools and documents. It will have a long-lasting positive effect on the local society and its development. The information about its results will be popularized among local residents which will trigger an increased interest in European initiatives in the region. Qualified and experienced professional employees of mechanical engineering, logistics and construction will appear on the labour market and will have a positive effect on the development of enterprises in the country and in Europe. The project complies with the needs of the participants, the school, and the region (Regional Development Strategy of Mazowieckie Voivodeship by year 2020) and is based on Europe 2020 Strategy and the priorities of Erasmus plus.
