Project The internship in a good style in Spain and Germany is going to realise two-week vocational training in Spain for students of The Technical High School in Słupsk. In 2016-2018 120 students will take part in the project. 6 editions of training will be organised for groups of 20 trainees and 12 assistants ( two of them for each group) . The students attending classes two and three will participate in the project. The students are attending classes of the following fields: clothing technology, advertising, wood works and photography. There will be 3 partners responsible for organization of the aims: The Technical High School in Słupsk (from that school the patriticipants are going to be chosen), EUROPROYECTOS Erasmus Plus-It is the intermediary institution which organizes placement for the students in a Spanish company and Vitalis Betreuungsgesellschaft fuer Modellprojekte mbH – the intermediary institution which organizes internships in Germany. The main objective of the project is mastering of vocational training in our region and giving the European dimension to it, introducing new methods and tools. Fulfilling this aim is the response for the gradually increasing need of the vocational training among youngsters . The internships in foreign companies will be a very attractive form of fulfilling the need of placement for young people. It allows them to gain some knowledge and professional experience in a different community in terms of culture and language of the country. As well as getting some knowledge by the students it will influence their language competence, arise their motivation to study and develop their personal qualities (independence, creativity, communicative abilities). To make the constancy of the chances stronger before leaving their country and during the placement they will take a language course: - 50 hours course of basic Spanish ( internships in Spain) - 50 hours course of professional English ( all trainees ) - 50 hours course of German ( internships in Germany)and they will also take part in preparation based on the culture (workshops, meeting, trips).The Technical High School in Słupsk will also organise special workshops: How to deal with stress in difficult situations in order to acquaintance the participants with methods and techniques of managing with stress, longing, and overcoming fear connected with going abroad. The workshops will be conducted by the school's educationalist-terapist ( 2 meetings- 2 hours for each group). Additionaly workshops with careers advisor are anticipated : Knowledge and experience in planning your career path . The main aim of that is to make studenets aware what kind of real possibilities can give them participation in the project ( 2 hours of workshops for each group).The action has the following aims to achieve:-the development of knowledge and professional skills of the participants, abilities and skills of using English (general and professional) and German ( general and professional),- broadening the knowledge about history, culture and topography of Spain or Germany,-knowledge of basic Spanish vocabulary and grammar,-the achievement of the following abilities: dealing with stress, ability of establishing contacts, openness to variety, awareness of being a European Union citizen, ability of working in small groups and cooperative working,- the increase in motivation to learn vocational subjects and foreign languages to plan and realize students’ career paths (passing school leaving examinations, vocational examinations, continuation of students’ education, willingness to look for work adequate to students’ skills). Moreover, the project will influence the attractiveness of the partners in their local community, thanks to their various offers of education. It will also help to create interesting tools and methods of work in vocational schools that will be spread among students and teachers of vocational subjects and among local companies. The authors of the project assume that the paricipants will broaden their proffesional knowledge, increase their cultural, personal and language skills. They are going to spend their free time in an active way by getting to know history, monuments and cities' topology during planned trips.
