The vocational training institute (Δ.I.E.K. ) of Giannitsa, in the frames of actions that implements to upgrade the provided initial education and training skills of its students, it’s participating in Erasmus+ ,KA1,learning mobility for individuals program, under the specific title “Internship on education and Inclusion of disabled” in 2014-2015. The 12 participating students have been attended sessions for two years now,have been trained at preschool education for people with special needs .They have acquired main theoretical knowledge on special education needs, on disabled and in the creation and application of educational programs for the integration of people with disability. The host country will be Spain and the host institute will be Esmovia. The program will last 3 months and the students will be accompanied by a chaperon. The main goals of this program are: • The acquisition and practice of skills, knowledge and professional qualifications in order to create and to apply programs that aimed at the education and the integration of people with disability. • The contact with the educational special need model of the host country (category, integration, inclusion). • The interaction and co formulation of new ideas, goals, practices and programs in the field of special education with the host country. The methodology applied concerns the creation and application of programs with fundamental long-term objectives and the biggest possible autonomy of people with disabilities in their adult life. Expected results • To upgrade the trainees skills aiming their professional development in the labour market. • Practical application of new and already acquired knowledge in the Greek field of special education need. • The experience implementing European programs by D. I.E.K. • The promotion of lifelong learning and strengthening of D.I.E.K from new trainees. • The interaction with the cultural and social environment of the host country.
