Projects are by far one of the most popular ways in which NGOs of the 21st century engage with their target groups. This is visible not only in the amounts of European grants spent on financing both local and international initiatives, but more so in the number of people positively affected by the different ventures launched. In our everyday work we tend to meet numerous youth organisations and informal groups of young people with great ideas and even greater ambitions. Furthermore, the fact is that KA1 gathers both EU and Eastern partner promoters. This fact increases the opportunities of disseminating results and improves the cooperation among different organisation involved. We believe that relationships with non-EU countries need to be developed and improved year by year, whereas youth workers from different sides of the world need to cooperate and through cooperation help youth gain new skills and knowledge. Summarising, "Learn to Act" project was written with the aim of empowering participants (here: people actively engaged in working with youth in any capacity: youth workers, facilitators, coordinators, volunteers, group leaders, etc.) and equipping them with project management skills indispensable in developing quality projects at local and international level. This will be achieved through successive implementation of the following project objectives: First of all we want to train participants in the key areas related to preparation and management of local and international youth projects and creating a toolbox of well-proven as well as new and innovative methods/tools/ideas/ strategies, etc. for effective projects management is a desire we all share. Through exchanging best practices and useful tools we will foster European cooperation in the youth field and supporting the development of sustainable partnerships for the future joint projects between the EU and Partner countries in particular. The training also gives the opportunity to discover the potential of Erasmus+ Programme in creating quality and value-based learning mobilities for young people and youth workers. The number of participants will be 35 with having 11 partners connected into this training. We are aiming our activities especially at potential participants who are heavily actively engaged in working with young people in any capacity (as described above), motivated to develop and/or further increase their competences in project management,willing to turn their skills developed during the activities into follow-up projects implemented at the local or international level (preferably in partnership with fellow attendees)and able to comfortably communicate in English - all sessions will be delivered in English as well as project management will be introduced with the use of English terms. Concerning the working methods, the activities will be implemented with the extensive use of non-formal learning methods such as ice-breakers and energizers, team building exercises, small group discussions, role-plays, individual reflection, practical skills development sessions, feedback and evaluation activities.The main tool to disseminate the outcomes of the project will be the final project summary written by the coordinator and facilitated by the project partners based on the activities conducted during the training course. Apart from that, in the course of the project we shall create a common online space which will become a valuable tool both for those engaged in the project and any other person wishing to ensure better quality to their projects. Next, dissemination of the project results will be possible through the common new projects developed and to be implemented within the frame of the Erasmus+ Program and beyond. We aim to reach out to various local Institutions and initiatives, especially in Wiesbaden but also in the surroundings of the respective partners. The participation of Peer-youth but also the participation of for example School social workers will ensure that the Idea of international Educational activities is carried on and has a strong impact on the local community. We imagine the impact of the project on three different levels: impact at the local level to empower project managers, facilitators and/or volunteers with project management skills, young people whom the project participants work with on everyday basis. On the next scale concerning regional and national level, we want to share knowledge and experience and strengthen youth cooperation at regional levels. The last scale would be the European and international level where we want to establish a network of EU and non-EU member youth organizations and individuals interested in future cooperation but also participants will have the opportunity to cooperate with other youth projects managers, coordinators and facilitators from different countries, to plan follow up activities together, to share their ideas and experience and more.
