Demographic change will have a significant impact on the European society and labour market. The problem is multi-facetted and puts into question the functioning of the social systems, pension systems and obliges workers to stay longer in working life than before. PRACTA proposes to introduce good experience from France and Germany into the Italian system. 5 instruments will be used by an Italian network of social partners, public authorities and vocational education and training institutions in an effort implement a holistic approach which can help the individual worker to stay or to re-enter the labour market.
