Sixteen students from our school took part in the project which was carried out in Sofia - Bulgaria. During the stay in Sofia the students had the chance to get familiar with the culture, history and geography of the country. What is more, they took part in the language course during which they studied the basis of Bulgarian language as well as professional terminology. All the participants of the project received the Europass Mobility certificates proving their professional qualifications and recognized in all UE countries. Due to this fact their competitiveness on the domestic and European labour market has definitely increased. Thanks to the participation in the project the students had the chance to get familiar with new working methods and techniques, compare working methods in their country and abroad, exchange experience, develop creativity and verify their skills in real working conditions. The internship program was prepared in cooperation with the local employers looking for workers with appropriate skills and work experience. Thanks to the participation in the project our students developed not only their intellectual but also professional skills. After analyzing participants reports and interviews we can certainly state that the aims of the project had been reached. As the part of the project the participants had professional training in the Technical University of Sofia. The students had also the opportunity to visit the beautiful capital city together with the most important landmarks as well as the city of Kopriwsztica. During the internship students were looked after by the appointed instructors who gave them tasks to be carried out. What is more, the instructors helped to solve problems and gave students advice together with Bulgaria-Gateway workers. This way of work organization provided the participants with the sense of security and individual approach. The participation in the project helped students to achieve number of benefits. The most important are: - the ability to adapt changes related to the reforms of the vocational training system - the increase of the teachers potential - the increase of the students professional knowledge What is really important our school has become much more competitive and recognized in our local environment. We have also noticed some important changes related to the students behaviour. They seem to be more mature, self-confident, willing to help and open to new challenges. All these aspects will be helpful in the further work of our school and cooperation with the employers. In addition, the experience gained during the rationalization of the project will be beneficial to the school development concerning the educational and professional training offer. The cooperation with Bulgaria-Gateway helped to gain the reliable foreign partner involved in all project aspects.
