"#Poland #Russia 2.0: the view of Poland and Poles at Russian new media" this is a Polish-Russian youth exchange project initiated by students’ of Russian Studies of the Jagiellonian University, Eastern Initiatives Institute and a youth organization "Politika and Wremija" from Voronezh. It’s a continuation of the project carried out in December 2014 in Poland. The next step of this projects is the youth exchange in Russia. Once again participants will work on new media mainly social media as Facebook, vKontakte, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, YouTube, because during the first phase of the project, they made sure that these sources constituted one of the main communication channel for young people. Developing the interaction between Poles and Russians, getting off prejudice and the promotion of the Polish-Russian dialogue are a main purpose of the project. This goal will be achieved with innovative tools 2.0 web, where every user can be an active participant and both the author and the recipient of the created together virtual reality. The project has for the task of breaking barriers and cross-cultural stereotypes. Their knowledge about mechanisms of stereotypes, cultural conditioning of living in Russia, real impact of new media will be deepened. As a result in new media the stereotype of the Pole will be deconstructed with the same tools 2.0 web, which was spread with the help of.
