The project “Flying Over Dobrudja ” is a multilateral youth exchange, which provides an opportunity for a meeting of 32 young people from four countries: Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey and Romania. It is planned to be realized in the city of Kavarna, Bulgaria. The project aims within 8 days to give youths an opportunity to debate the topics on climate changes, new trends for energy production and related resources and challenges to entrepreneurship to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly business models for the effective conservation and environmental protection. The young people will present the best sustainable development practices on regional and European level. The program will offer a variety of methods in the sphere of non-formal education – the method of cooperative learning, interactive role games and workshops, presentations, outdoor activities, visiting of cultural sights, cultural evenings. The project expectations are: to improve the awareness of youths and their commitment to the environmental problems, to enhance their personal development and self-esteem, to contribute to the unity, tolerance and mutual understanding between them in the context of inter-cultural understanding. As potential long-term benefits the exchange aims to activate and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in youths and to provoke new long-term partnerships in the future.
