In the context of the new requirements and standards in the educational process, Vocational high-school "Hristo Botev" strives to enhance the quality of education by building on actual, compliant with the employers’ needs key competencies, to support opportunities for students’ expression and self-proving in an out-school environment, to foster the development of knowledge of European cultural values and traditions and for learning foreign languages.The goals that we set with this project are:1. Developing and upgrading the knowledge, skills and competencies of students in "Computer Engineering" with a focus on learning outcomes in view of employability and improving the chances for a successful start in their careers after graduation;2. Promoting learning in a real working environment through the development of strategic partnership between Vocational high-school "Hristo Botev" and foreign training organization in the system of lifelong learning and foreign employers.3. Expanding the user skills for working in a multicultural environment, improving their intercultural and language competences;4. Improving the competencies of teachers in ICT to work with new technologies, updating and supplementing their skills through observation of everyday business processes in companies, acquiring a better understanding of the needs of the European labor market towards the education of personnel in the sector ICT, learning new teaching models.Mobility will take place entirely in a real working environment, in IT companies in the city of Zaragoza, Spain and will provide a significant added value to the training of users, because it covers topics that are new for participants and current for the labor market, leading to better opportunities for career start and realization in the profession after graduation.Mobility will incorporate 22 users. These are: 20 students from the Vocational high-school "Hristo Botev" aged 15-19 studying in the profession "Computer Engineering" and two teachers teaching in subjects of professional training for "Computer Equipment and technology. "The total duration of the practice is 25 working days.Students will be divided into groups and placed in the separate companies. Teachers will also observe practice and will be trained to work with new technologies and new teaching methods according to previously developed schedule.The practice program is divided into two modules: Module 1. Modern techniques for planning, layout and design of web pages adapted for use with mobile devices and Module 2. Optimization of web pages for better placement in search engines (SEO).The training is based on the self-fulfillment of professional tasks in real business conditions under the guidance of a mentor from the host company and teamwork. The aim is acquiring practical skills and competencies, alone or in groups to solve practical tasks in a real working environment.The practice will end with the presentation of products from teams of students - designed site that is functionally adapted for mobile applications and own strategy for SEO optimization.The project will upgrade the professional skills of users by building new and specific knowledge and skills that meet the market demand in the IT sector, namely the acquisition of practical skills and knowledge for planning and design of websites compatible with mobile devices (mobile phones, smartphones and PDA devices) and skills to develop own strategy for website optimization and good positioning in search engines (SEO).The practice is also valuable as it will imprint on personal skills that form the best professionals in the IT sector, namely: the ability to offer different solutions to a given task; skills for analysis and definition of information needs; ability to select the best potential resources; adaptability to different tasks; ability to work in a team and to deal with stressful situations.The project will enrich spiritually participants by introducing them to the culture and history of Spain and the sights of Zaragoza. Their worldview will be broadened, the understanding of European citizenship and mobility within the EU will be improved.Teachers will acquire skills to work with new technologies and software and will learn new teaching techniques, in accordance with the requirements of European IT business, which will in effect act to improve the quality of the profesional training in Vocational high-school "Hristo Botev".
