PNYX(Greek: pronounced [pnyks], in Ancient Greek, pronounced [pnika], in Modern Greek). The Pnyx is a small, rocky hill surrounded by parkland, with a large flat platform of eroded stone set into its side, and by steps carved on its slope. It was the meeting place of earliest known democratic legislatures, the Athenian ecclesia (assembly). Participants in youth exchange examine what democracy and citizenship means to young people. Consider how to increase young people's participation in politics; and how active citizenship can be promoted through volunteering and community engagement; and how the political system can reflect the communication preferences of young people- Enable young people to engage in wider political issues, locally, nationally or internationally.In youth exchange will fake part 38 people from 7 EU countries and at the meeting will discuss issues related to democracy and participation of young people and will visit Athens and places that democracy was born.
