The traditional forms of education do not emphasize on training for building key skills for effective use of information and communications technology, the Internet and the protection of young people on the web.Project objective: Young people are facing every day challenges such as the manipulation of information, violence and internet security and protection of personal data. Due consideration of the need of appropriate training in relation to information on the Internet and ICT we will realize the project "Platform for virtual culture."The mobility will include 56 young people aged between 16 and 25 years, accompanied by four group leaders from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Turkey and Portugal and will be implemented in Veliko Tarnovo from 20.08 to 30.08.2016. The aim of the project is to improve the skills of 56 young people to work on the web, making them familiar with the specifics of the virtual culture, its technological value, cultural dimensions and influences, educational trends and the perspectives of virtuality, the place and importance of virtual reality in modern culture and education.Activities: Through the implementation of the planned activities and thanks to the methods of informal education - trainings, discussions, lectures, brainstorming, simulation games and interactive activities we will develop specific skills among the participants. Thanks to their participation in this mobility the target group will develop critical thinking, skills to quickly analyze information, identifying non-essential information, literacy, skills for a thorough reading, good judgment. All these positive results will build completely new competencies in ICT among the target group that will help them become competitive personalities.Project "Platform for virtual culture" will have an impact on local and national, regional and European level. The multicultural participation of four organizations and young people will contribute most in insuring long-term impact on European level.
