The aims of the project "First steps in success" are: to widespread knowledge of English learning, exchange experiences in teaching especially the forms and methods of teaching English and to broaden the minds in the fields of learning English as a second. Apart from this, the structure of this project is based on mutual cooperation between different european countries. Three Polish teachers from the complex rural school in Samostrzel are going to participate in 2 weeks workshops in United Kingdom. They aim to gain experience in teaching English and Geography, to boost their own self-esteem, to create international projects, to promote Poland, Polish tradition and history and to verify the similarities and differences in teaching in both Poland and UK. Thanks to these workshops, the teachers will be able to introduce new, creative methods and tools in learning during their lessons. Furthermore, the teachers expect their students to achieve better results in writing the final exams among the students in the 3rd class of secondary schools and at the A-level.
