This project is a EVS service address to 1 Armenian youngster and 2 Italians who will run a parralel project lasting 6 months. The project aims at empowering young people, enhancing their active role for the creation of a better civil society and European citizenship developing the competence on entrepreneurship (turn ideas into action, personal involvement, etc.), self-esteem and self-confidence through volunteering service in a different country. This competence could be a key factor for the volunteer in their enter into the Job Market as it can provide them of more self-confidence and stimulate them to start own business and taking responsibility of own carreer. In both realities (Armenian and Italian), main focus of the service of the volunteer will be the support of the development of new local initiatives with local youngsters through peer to peer approach using photography and media that will stimulate the involvement of the youngster in the NGO’s activities and finding a new way of communicate and interact with local youngsters using creativity and non formal education regardless linguistic barrier. Moreover the volunteer can help in local initiatives and spreading the information among youth through peer to peer education using her own creativity and he/she can be support cultural photo exhibition organized in the public cultural center of the city. Basic elements of main activities of this EVS project will be: • Workshops on photography based on the NFL methodology (education workshop, etc.) • Photo-exhibitions on photography • Cross-cultural activities, such as presentations in the schools, food preparation with local youngsters and etc.
