The project contained of the participation of all three staff members of Institute FBI in a further education course on the topic of thinking and learning. Background was the necessity to open up to new fields of work or working programmes to submit project proposals and additionally to enhance the knowledge of the staff members on Learning and Teaching including the physiological framework of the brain. The participation of the whole team offered the possibility of intense exchange and use of all contents prepared in the course. The participation was used for team-building and networking with the participants from other countries. The overall goals were extended knowledge, awareness, networking, teambuilding and new changes for project work. The participants are staff members of Institute FBI with different durance of stay and are working together since 5 month. All three have academic degrees and a few further educations and cover a broad range of competences important in adult education. To keep a high level of innovation this course was an important step. The course was offered to international participants in the Erasmus plus programme. The duration of the course was one week, what opened up intense working on the topic and relevant exchange with the others. Two of the staff members participated in a lot of project meetings in the framework of our 20 years engagement in EU-funded projects and do know the organisational necessities to prepare for such meetings in foreign countries. One of the staff members is working part time self employed in her travel agency and did add more professional know how. The long term impact for our organisation is the further existance of Institut FBI to a high extend fiancially based on EU-funded project work.
