The Cultural Association “Art- Traditions- Heritage Without Borders" is involved in the formation and education of youth and adults. Since it was founded, the association has set as its main objective to promote educational activities and enhance natural and cultural heritage, the national and engaging in an approach to create a European culture heritage protection; this can be achieved through dialogue to highlight the particularities of each country. The association proposes a change in mentality, raising awareness to the need and ways to have a healthy natural environment impacting everyone's life and also to keep a prestigious cultural heritage as a factor of collective identity and cultural memory.
The project „Pedagogy of cultural and natural heritage” aimed at developing European cooperation in order to promote cultural and natural heritage nationally and internationally. The objectives of the association aimed to develop educational activities aimed:
- To create and promote local spirit and heritage preservation.
- To acquire skills in the field of cultural heritage
- To mould the future association members as promoters of cultural heritage
- to elaborate teaching tools designed to be used in the formative programs initiated by the association, and in other institutions able to contribute in formal and informal manner to educate the public in order to preserve heritage;
- To realize new exchanges and partnerships with European organizations aiming at conservation and valorisation of natural and cultural heritage,
- To promote national heritage among the European public.
Consequently, the selected target group (teachers and professors, curators, students and volunteers) have developed new skills, have acquired new methods and tools for promoting heritage, the organizational capacity of the association grew and were signed new partnerships for European collaboration. The activities of the project created a strong impact on the community and the target group:
- creating positive behaviors towards cultural and natural heritage;
- a better knowledge of European culture, art garden, a European cultural and natural heritage;
-improving professional skills/scientific heritage on the European heritage
- developing the capacity to realize projects with European and cross-cutting themes;
- development of new strategies and models of pedagogical sheets on the natural and cultural heritage.
The activities undertaken were the training courses were held during September. 2014-May 2016 and targeted the following areas: vocational training courses (language, pedagogical and cultural orientation) held by professors specialists, school education and national university on the one hand, and on the other hand training courses on art and garden, organized by the Association “Paysages et patrimoine sans frontieres”. Another activity aimed at was implementing the knowledge gained from the course, observable by the results obtained:
-positive behaviour towards national heritage;
-specific skills promoting national and European heritage, they have accumulated specialized knowledge;
-There have been created tools on managing and promoting cultural and national heritage.
Among the intellectual products made that will form the basis of new projects, we mention:
- 4 articles were carried on cultural heritage
- One guide teachers on heritage
- 8 portfolios
- A best practice guide
- An exhibition of digital photography
- 4 creative workshops
- 8 garden books
- 8 PowerPoint presentations
- 2 campaigns promoting heritage
- A seminar.
