The partnership building activity 'Volunteers for Environment' will take place in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia 20-25 May, 2012. The PBA will connect 18 youth organizations interested in and working on environmental issues with volunteers. 32 youth leaders, youth workers and young volunteers from 15 EU and Eastern European/Caucasian countries will meet to discuss current environmental issues and the good practices of their organizations in addressing them through promotion of volunteerism. We will learn together more about the possibilities and priorities of the Youth in Action Programme, develop partnerships and create new environmental joint projects (based on voluntary work), as well as get new skills to assure effective projects in the future and the multiplying effect. Non-formal educational methods will be used throughout the PBA including interactive sessions and presentations, discussions, parallel workshops, artistic sessions, working groups, information sharing, etc. Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) is the applicant of the project, Stepanavan Youth Center (SYC) will host the project.
