The project is a response to the problem, which is a low level of knowledge of young people with a range of opportunities to participate in political life. The aim of the project is to educate about participatory budgeting by conducting debates and youth meetings with policy makers and experts. The project aims to increase the participation of young people in public life and increase the sense of efficacy among young people. Meetings have also lead to improve the situation of young people of the "fewer opportunities". The proposals submitted by youth may also be valuable information for decision-makers about. directions of development of urban policy.Expected number of participants is 290 people. Women and men aged 16 to 19 years from Silesia attending to upper secondary schools, (including "young people with fewer opportunities" minimum 10% of participants task) together with their teachers .The main task will be to simulate the civic budget - Games budget, so that young people will have an opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of civil budget, team building and self-presentation.Expected outcomes tasks are to increase knowledge of young people in the field to carry out the budget of civil, construction and proposals, learning opportunities, but also the limits, stemming from cooperation with public institutions. Participants also will learn the importance of teamwork to achieve the objective. All activities will be carried out on a consistent basis with the principles of the Structured Dialogue. Until the results will also include: increasing the knowledge of the participants, both young people and teachers who have acquired knowledge will share with other students. The result of the project will also be learned by representatives of the City Offices expectations and ideas of young people, some of the projects submitted by young people can be realized. It is important that officials had the opportunity to know the opinion of the young generation that soon will actively participate in political life.
