Participatory Video as a Tool for Young Volunteers
Start date: Aug 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The idea of the project was based on the previous work experience of our organization with volunteers from other countries. We saw that in every country with which we have worked, there are organizations actively involved in Erasmus+ Youth Mobility. They all share a common goal - the development of young people. But each of them has its own specific methods and technologies. When to explore and extend this experience among all youth centers - we could to diversify their activities but also to combine their efforts and work in partnership projects. Interesting, modern and fast way of sharing this experience can be a participatory video, which relieves young people around the world. The idea of our project is to teach youth to make participatory video after send them for EVS to partner organizations (Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Portugal), where they will be able to take part in the life and activities of these organizations. Throughout his volunteer service youth will be able to shoot a variety of subjects from the life of the organization, to study their experience of working with young people. After that, based on the results of this work for all partner organizations will be prepared and conducted educational training in order to exchange experiences. Through the video, which will make the volunteers we will be able to extend this experience to a larger number of interested organizations that work with young people. The project is fully meets the objectives and priorities of the program Erasmus+ youth mobility: promote young people’s active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular; develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union; foster mutual understanding between young people in different countries; contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of NGO's.
