PROJECT
FINISHED
Discrimination is not only a problem for the Hungarian population in Romania, also for youth from a Roma family and you can find this also in a German youth group where the young people go to schools with other educational level.
With the project we want to raise chances for education and employment on the one hand for the volunteer and on the other hand for German youth. We want to strengthen their European horizon and decrease the risk that discrimination will be passed to the next.
One female volunteer from the Hungarian Minority in Romania is involved.
To the Activities belong:
1. To create programs for the children and youth groups in the region Vierkirchen/Melaune
2. Participation in regional projects
3. To plan and to prepare the international summer camp carried out by German and Hungarian youngsters
The EVS duration is one year. The project will be realised in a team of staff and voluntary members of the association. There is a task related support through a staff and also a tutor will attend the volunteer.
Outcomes are the obvious enhancement of the lingual and skilled competences of the volunteer and the involved associations. The volunteer put into practice own projects and this process will be reflected. The partnership between the participating associations was intensified and the understanding towards people from another European country will be improved.
