The ability of communities to live together in peace depends on their ability to valorize the differences and diversity. Inclusion and participation are important objectives of the sustainable development learning. The youth organizations can promote community cohesion by providing an inclusive atmosphere, welcoming that values everyone’s participation and contribution, condemning prejudice and injustice in any form and source, instilling youth with a long-lasting respect for human rights, freedoms, cultures and creative expression. The "Participation and Inclusion" project aims to bring added value to the social inclusion of young people from socio-economically disadvantaged communities, especially rural communities of Roma and sub-urban migrant communities.The specific objectives of the project are:- supporting the social inclusion of young people at local, regional, national and European level.- increase the participation of young people with fewer opportunities and reducing their exclusion from the life of the local communities.-participation of a total of 60 young people with fewer opportunities in which at least 40 young Roma, to a transnational mobility- set up of an inclusive development plan for the local communities.- exchange of good practices on social inclusion of young people at the level of the youth organizations partners in project- promoting European values as respect for human rights, freedom, democracy, equality, respect of law among young people.- establishment of a network of youth organizations and civil society organizations interested in promoting social inclusion among young people with fewer opportunities and promoting active participation of these young people in the life of the community.The project will be implemented in partnership by six youth organizations active in the field of social inclusion, organizations that have experience of working in Roma communities and migrant communities. The project activities will be attended by 60 young people (30 girls and 30 boys) from Rroma rural communities and suburban migrant communities. The 60 young participants in the project are from: Romania, Slovakia, Portugal, Spain,Poland and Turkey.The main activities of the project will be:- selection and preparation of participants- ensuring the visibility and dissemination of the project results- mobility of the project- evaluation of the project.The mobility of the project will be implemented through the methodology "learning by doing" methodology that will focus on the use of non-formal education methods as: debate, labyrinth theater, world cafes, photo-voice, workshops, Energizers games role, storytelling.The expected results of the project will be:- European platform that will promote the social inclusion among young people from socio-economically disadvantaged communities, especially Rroma communities and migrant communities.- website of the project.- declaration of social inclusion policy, programmatic document prepared by the participants, which will include solutions to solve problems faced by the Roma communities and migrants.The project will have an impact on the young participants but also on the partner organizations by the fact that will be developed and tested new methods of non-formal education on social inclusion.On long term, through the European platform created in the project, also other stakeholders will benefit from the exchange of good practices on social inclusion of young people from Roma communities and migrant communities.
