Better Quality Intercultural Co-operation IIKemin lyseon lukio, located in the North of Finland, is a senior secondary school with 330 students and 26 teachers. With Erasmus+ we aim to provide supplemented education for our teachers. Four teachers will take part in these activities.There are three different activities within the project. Two of the activities include participation in supplemented education in Malta and Romania. One activity is participating in an international conference in DenmarkThe new national curriculum for senior secondary schools will lay more emphasis on internationalizing, and the activities of the project will be necessary to reinforce the strategy to the required level in the 2016 curriculum.The activities carried out within the project will increase the teaching staff`s knowledge in teaching. It will also improve the ability to work in a high-quality international environment with foreign colleagues. This, in turn, will lead to improved quality in teaching and enhance job satisfaction and well-being in general. On the other hand, student`s knowledge of international affairs and their experiences in an international environment will increase, and ultimately that will have a positive effect on their learning and achievements. They will grow up to be more tolerant and active citizens.
