The proposed project constitutes an innovative way to support the educational work of our school and our teachers in implementing their mission.In our school, there is laboratory of audiovisual media. We already have experience in producing educational material using ICT. It is also equipped with modern computer labs, used to teach multimedia classes, as a part of the curriculum of the Informatics specialty in the cooperating vocational schools. Moreover, we have a webradio station (http://radio.mysch.gr), which is a result of the cooperation of teachers and students.We have designed this proposal after acknowledging the need for continuous improvement of the teaching staff, while learning and applying modern teaching methods, with the ultimate aim of effectively embedding the use of ICT in the educational process. Therefore, the scheduled visits and workshops focus on the digital production of media and the sharpening of administrative, creative and technical skills.The teachers of the school already have experience in the production of educational material, as can be seen in our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZOt0RDXURw933T2xcQV0ng). Our goal is to use any technology available (eg smartphones, laptops, tablets) for the production of teaching material for our students. We will focus on all aspects of the production of multimedia educational tools related to the goals and curricula of our course, aiming to improve the learning process.The project includes 16 teachers, coming from the Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science specialties. Participants have a future in school and excellent development prospects, but at the same time great learning experience and scientific competence. Teachers selected have strong concerns and considerations to improve teaching practices for the benefit of students and thus the efficient operation of the school.Through this plan, the participating teachers will seek to know in depth the various technologies and procedures applicable in the host institutions for the production of innovative and workable classroom educational products (video, movies, presentations) using audiovisual and appropriate computer software.
