"YOUrope II" is a long-term EVS project coordinated by Mundus Association with the cooperation of the host organization OWH Studio in Moldova where 1 volunteer will colaborate with OWH Studio in supporting the promotion of films in Moldova as well as teaching youth, children and professionals about television and film production through projects that combine production with educational aspects, mainly based on respect for human rights. . The project activity will start on February 2015 with a duration of 9 months. The volunteer selected to participate in the project is Ciro, a 25 years old guy unemployed and highly motivated to live in a different country with a completely different culture in order to improve him language skills as well as her professional and personal competences. During the SVE, Ciro will develope the following activities: - Being part of the creative team of OWH Studio: making videos and documentaries in social and creative production. Ciro will participate in video productions, starting with the concept and following with the recordings. He will assist her colleagues. Besides, she will be free to participate as an actress in the video productions. - Drafting and production of cultural / training film projects: finding potential subsidy programs in the field of audiovisual production, write and develop projects and request the granting of the projects. - Attend seminars and training courses organized by OWH in the field of audiovisual production, both domestically and internationally. - Being part of a press agency for the International Documentary Film Festival Chronograph. - Being part of the organization team and work in the development of the concept, assisting in video production and logistics, have interviews with the participants in the festival, write articles and take photos of the event. - Communication with the international artistics and participants of the Festival. - Support workshops about film, photography, graphic, etc. in the local community. - Creating a paper or digital magazine dedicated to the preparation of the Festival and to the fans of cinema and culture in Moldova. - Dissemination of the Spanish culture in the Moldovan local community. The methodology used to develope all this activities will be non-formal education. The project will have a big impact both personally and at local and international levels. It is expected that the volunteer will acquire all learning objectives during the EVS, discovering Moldova and its culture, traditions and language. Thus, the project aims to have a big impact in improving a positive image of Moldova in Europe and increased awareness of Moldavian heritage.
