Out and About
Start date: Nov 1, 2014, End date: Feb 28, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project named ΄Out and About' aims to empower young people to conceptualise how to use different theoretical concepts which support the running of outdoor activities, provide the experience of a variety of outdoor activities that can be used in different contexts, learn how to discover and develop their leadership skills and finally deepen their knowledge on how to use sportive methodology to urge other youngsters to lead a healthy lifestyle within this inclusive context. In a further perspective, the participants of this training will play a crucial role in mentoring and guiding youth towards healthier and more peaceful trails through physical challenges as well as in introducing these issues among their target group, their peers and other youngsters. The expected outcome of the training course is to render youth leaders, youth workers, facilitators and trainers to be confident and competent to become multipliers of the knowledge and experience gained.
