The project "ONE WORLD - ONE FUTURE" wants to arrange the HOW of a common future in Europe, in terms of the recent Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Only with community and solidarity, the recognition of difference and tolerance of differences, it will be possible to create a future in peace in a common Europe. Our volunteers work on various projects involving youth services. The Youth Services will be animated to design their daily routine in a european way. We offer the volunteers the opportunity to rediscover the shared values of Russian and Ukrainian culture and to recognize differences. So they can help to construct the idea of a common Europe and contribute to a peaceful future together. Two young women from Ukraine and Russia will participate in the project. They girl from Kiev can contribute their experience from the crisis from a close range. The volunteers work in two different hostingprojects. Both of them are youth centers. There they will be integrated into the daily work of the projects. They enrich the activities through their own events. Their common project "ONE WORLD - ONE FUTURE" the volunteers will prepare and perform together. It will be events about their country, cooking shows and other things. The results will be published in a book, which will be presented at a festival for and from volunteers and also in our Russion partnercity Vladimir in the Euroklub. After a reasonable training period in the daily tasks of the hostingprojects, the volunteers meet at regular intervals together with the tutors to plan and prepare the events and the book. It also includes a weekend seminar in a hostel outside of Jena. We will also be in daily contact by social media networks. We participate in this project from the beginning with the volunteers together! Volunteers should be made aware of similarities in Russian and Ukrainian culture. Old thinkings and prejudices should be changed. They should be able to create a positive common future. The book will be a lasting monument to the possibilities of a profitable cooperation. It will motivate and provide courage to open themselves for the other side. The long-term benefits of this project are the strengthening of European awareness of the participating volunteers and its implementation in their future.
