The project "One step forward" is about participation, activism, entrepreneurship, happiness, commitment, to smile, volunteering, innovation, initiative, fun, empowerment, to go further, to be different! So, we invite the volunteers to jump from their confort zone, because it is time to change their lives, we invite them to jump from their comfort zone because it is time to risk, we invite them to jump from their countries because it is time to try other culture, we invite youngsters to jump from their small world because it is time to do "One step forward". This project will happen in Portugal, with four volunteers from Romania, Hungary, Austria and Slovakia, between january 2015 and december 2016, for a long term projects, hosted by YUPI organization. The objectives of this project are to promote active citizenship among youngsters; to increase the participation of young people; to develop the entrepreneurship among youngsters; to promote cultural diversity and to promote interculturality between young people; to create non formal spaces of sharing, learning and growing between youngsters with diferents origins and backgrounds; to promote volunteering. The volunteers will be part in our projects that are on fields like volunteering, european mobility, youth participation, social inclusion, rural development, fair trade, environmental. The EVS volunteers should also bring and contribute with own ideas and projects, giving their energy, dynamism and culture.
