PROJECT
FINISHED
In today's world, which is developing and changing in time, innovations and improvements come into existence in every field of life and also in the field of education. All these innovations and improvements require schools or educational environments to be a part of them needfully. In this sense, our organisation also needs to become an organisation which is open-minded and making progress in its field by becoming a part of these eternal changes and developments. As a result, in the scope of our project 'Innovative Approaches to Teaching' we are planning to attend the ten-day educational activity which is going to be held in London city of United Kingdom.
We hope that our project becomes the starting point of reaching more European projects. We are planning to take more active roles in European projects thanks to the connections and the experiences which will be gained during our project.
The goals of our project can be aligned in short as:
-to increase capacity to cooperate on international level, to revise and strengthen the professional profile of the teaching professions
-to promote the foreign language competences of the participants and enhance intercultural awareness by enabling the participants realize and contribute to the EU's broad linguistic diversity,
-to provide the participants with the practical ideas that they can apply in their classes and to enchance their language skills and intercultural awareness,
-to promote more active participation in society, to improve competences linked to the trainees’ professional profiles, and to promote broader understanding of practices, policies and systems in education,
-increase capacity to trigger changes in terms of modernisation and international opening within educational organisations and to
promote greater understanding and responsiveness to social, linguistic and cultural diversity,
-to increase ability to address the needs of the disadvantaged; work with special needs pupils and to increase motivation and satisfaction in the trainees’ daily work,
-to allow participants to meet colleagues of different nationalities within the EU, discuss their background and cultural differences, share ideas on official and unofficial programmes supporting integration of migrant and minority pupils, and build a network of FL teachers for future cooperation.
The participants of our project are the teachers and the school administrators who are the graduates of Faculty of Education of the state universities in which there is a four-year education for the teacher candidates.
The participants' experience in their professions vary between 3-20 years. The total number of the participants is ten.
The main activity of our project is to attend the ten-day educational activity titled 'Innovative Approaches to Teaching' The activity is going to be held in London city of United Kingdom. The participants are the teachers from different European countries.
The main goal of the activity is to introduce participants the innovative approaches to teaching.
The methodologies of the project activity are cross-curricular approaches, critical and creative thinking, project-based learning, inquiry-based learning and task-based learning.
The expected result and effect of our project is to reach and realize the project goals in the most effective and efficient way.
In addition to the benefits of reaching our project goals, the possible long term benefits of the project can be aligned as:

-the students are going to be educated through differentiated teaching methods and by the help of using motivating techniques they are going to become individuals who are willing to search and learn.
-the students who are educated by the teachers that aim at the use of innovative approaches will develop self -esteem and self-confidence .Moreover, they are going to be more willing and enthusiastic about reaching success.
