Turkish Commercial Code, that took effect in July 2012, enforces the companies to create web sites for their organizations. According to latest data, majority of 972.491 companies in Turkey does not have active websites.
It is crucial for commercial companies to have websites in this communication and technology era in order to market their goods in national and international markets and to present their services. Companies not involved in the virtual world will stay behind in the sector. However, with a good web design, they will ensure same proximity with the customers in the same city as with the customers in other continents and geographical distances will not be important. Web sites will create positive images for the companies, they will be able to inform their customers about the changes and developments in their products and will share promotions. They will also realize low costs in promotion and ads by getting rid of published materials.
Websites which allow e-commerce will be able to continue business at all hours since they are open 7/24. They will be able to increase income due to e-commerce. Those companies will be easily found in search engines and may even show up in the first pages of Google to be included in sectoral competition. A web site is an indicator of professionalism in recent years.
However, training of the students who will support publishing these web sites after graduation is not sufficient and high quality. In thi context, the current project will ensure overcoming this lack of training and practice by providing theoretica and practivcal training and will contribute to the training of qualified IT specialists who can meet the demands of the region and the country.

-contribute to employment by training qualified IT specialists
