Submitted project “Odbornosť bez hraníc” (“Open traineeship”) was conceived to fulfill basic requirements and expectations aimed at providing vocational education and preparation. It rises from the need of connecting vocational education with the needs, expectations and possibilities of technical praxis. As a part of the solution of the project we set the following goals: 1. Improving quality of vocational competence and skill of participants; 2. Improving quality of lingual competence with a emphasis on using technical terminology; 3. Improving quality of provided educational activities of our school. Into the project implementation will be engaged the pupils of Spojená škola, Komárňanská 28, Nové Zámky from three fields of study: electrical engineering, IT and economical academy. Among the main project activities is the mobility of 18 pupils to London, with the aim of realization vocational internship directly in companies based on the character and the study profile of their field of study. Another intention of the project, transformed into the shape of a project activity is preparation of study materials, which in the future will support introduction of teaching technical English. Beside these activities we planned an interesting meeting in the English language with experts, but also a competition in translation of technical texts. We expect, that by realization of the project we contribute to simplification of implementation technical English into the educational process, by which we would considerably improve the quality of the services provided by our school. Positive impact of the project also presents itself in the field of improvement of vocational and lingual competences of pupils and teachers alike. We expect a long term benefit of the project to be in reforming curricular school documents as well as in personal growth of the participants.
