The project builds on similar highly successful projects from previous years, when partnership and personal contacts were gradually established and fixed between representatives of school, Celtic Internships agency and representatives of companies and institutions involved in the project in the Irish city of Cork. It is a professional foreign 10-weeks internship period, which was based on selection according to predetermined criteria and designed for 8 students of the 3rd year of higher professional education. It was the educational program for four Automotive Diagnostics and Service students and four students of the Business Economics educational program. This 5-month professional experience in home and foreign companies is an integral part of both accredited educational programs in the 5th semester of the final year of their study. The project was implemented with the help of intermediary agencies Celtic Internships in host organizations in Cork. Professional internships took place in the period from September 2015 to December 2015. The main objectives of the students majoring in Automotive Diagnostics and Service were achieving knowledge and practical skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicles, experience with the use of modern diagnostic techniques and tools, be acquaited with innovations in the car design, manuals of world car manufacturers and also the organization of work in Irish Car services. The students majoring in Business Economics got the acquisition of new scientific knowledge and skills in the field of economics and management, marketing and management and business activities set in the Irish legislative environment. An important outcome related to the length of the project and which has a direct immediate relation to the disciplines studied by all students involved in the project was a significant improvement in the technical terminology and general communication skills in English, their overall personal and professional development, acquiring new knowledge, skills knowledge and attitudes and getting to know the culture of the foreign country . The project was managed in cooperation between the sending, intermediary and host organizations. Feedback and continuous assessment was carried out by analyzing the weekly student reports sent by e-mail and by monitoring visits to individual student workplaces by representatives of the sending organization. Final students evaluation given to students by the host organization will form the basis for the granting credits ECTS and credits for the Professional experience course. Students will use the acquired knowledge and work experience in the preparation of graduate theses. Foreign language presentation about the progress of long-term foreign professional practice is a part of the final graduation exams. Participants received certificate at the end of their internships from the sending organization. Participation and content of their internships was written in their Europass mobility. Long-term benefits of the project are to increase the attractiveness of higher professional education in technical and economic fields offered by our school and especially in a considerable increased opportunities for graduates involved in the project on the labour market in the EU .
