This project consists of 3 consultations at a regional level in Ireland. The consultations will take place in Dublin, Cork and Sligo on Saturday 26th Jan 2013, 2nd Feb and the 9th Feb. We aim to have 80-100 participants at the consultation events. This project is the consultation phase of the European Structured Dialogue process. Structured dialogue is an instrument to ensure that the opinion of young people is taken into account in the formation of youth policy in the European Union. Ireland is going to hold the Presidency of the European Council from January to June 2013 and will host an EU Youth Conference in Dublin. This project will ensure that there is consultation with young people in Ireland on the structured dialogue theme and that their recommendations join those of the national consultations all over Europe to set the agenda and inform the background documents for EU Youth Conference in Ireland.
