NUEVAS METODOLOGIAS EN LA FORMACIÓN DE PADRES Y DE MAESTROS, EN EL EQUIPO DE ORIENTACIÓN EDUCATIVA Y PSICOPEDAGOGICA.

The Psychopedagogical Guidance Team has among his functions to give advise and to teach parents and teachers. This team works with all the childhood and primary schools of sixty towns, a total of 60 schools, which belong to seven different town councils. There is an average of 40 teachers and 300 parents in each of these schools, who are the potencial receiver of our project. We develop some educational activities like “ Parents Schools”, “Educational groups to give support to the families”, trainnig sesions for the teachers about different topics ( how to deal with the pupils diversity, tutorial acción, emotional inteligence, ..). We observe some difficulties in these kind of activities. The first one is the difficulty to achieve the necessary motivation and implication of the participants as well as to change actitudes and educational styles. For this reason we consider the need of looking for new training methodologies that let us save the detected difficulties.
The profesional team consist of 22 advisers, of which 8 are participating in this proyect.
Two of them will asist to the requested mobility activity, a training course named “Active training. Step by Step to be an active trainer or teacher” which will take place in the first week of October 2014. With this course we hope to achive new knowledges and skills about an active methodology of teaching and about “group dynamics and group technicals”
After the mobility activity, the two persons who have assited will supply methodological proposals to the team of eight professionals who participate in the proyect.
They will make a labour of revisión and elaboration of the methodology and these new proposals will start in the teaching activities with parents and teachers that we will make until June 2014. When the course 2014-15 concludes we will evaluate if the changes introduced in the methodology have improved the work in group with parents and teachers.
If the evaluation is positive we will share these new methological proposals with the rest of co- worker who belong to our institution. We will introduce changes in the Plan of Work of our
Working center for the coming course 2015-16. In this way we will get an impact in the whole institution and will improve the teaching methodology with parents and teachers of the 60 schools we attent.
