The aim of the project "Modern teaching and upbringing" for the Primary School no 1 in Dąbrowa Tarnowska, is to:- develop participants' language skills;- modernize their teaching methodology;- modernize the methods of upbringing;- begin cooperation with schools from other European countries, participate in eTwinning projects;- develop cultural awareness;- strengthen the teachers and students' motivation;There are 12 participants in the project, all of whom are experienced teachers and/or class tutors or teachers in the after-school club. They teach various subjects, such as Polish, English, Maths, Music, IT, integrated teaching.They will participate in courses which may be particularly useful for our school, namely: using modern technologies in teaching, conflict management, British life and culture and language courses.Not only will the participants use the new methods in their own work, but also they will share them with other teachers from our school and from other schools. They will prepare brochures, multimedia presentations and organize trainings and open lessons.Participation in the project will:- develop participants' professional skills;- enable international relations;- improve the quality of teaching in our school by using modern methods of teaching;- develop cultural awareness among teachers and students;- increase motivation;- improve the learning results of our students and the image of the school.We hope that in the long run, this project will bring a lot of benefits not only to the whole school community, but also to the local community. Modern teaching and upbringing and cooperation with schools from the EU will increase the European dimension of the school and its significance in the region.
