Project is between 7.11-15.12.2016.During the project, volunteers will plan and implement Elf path events and Elf schools for local children and young people.Volunteers will develop the ability to organize and use their own creativity and sense of initiative as well as strengths in the planning and preparation of Elf path and Elf school programmes. Part of the group will be responsible for the entire project documentation. Volunteers will gain experience as acting as elfs, and interacting with children. Through elf path and Elf School we want to create natural contacts and interaction between people from different cultures. We wan to increase cross-cultural understanding and encourage internationalization.Participants of the project will gain new work experience, develop important skills such as organizational skills, sense of initiative, creativity and communication skills. Youth Pass will have a major role in the recognition of learning of the participants and it can bring a lot of benefit to them when looking for work or applying for a study place.Sending organisations will gain valuable experience in international cooperation, and they can find it easier to support a participant forward in life, with the help of the experience participant had during the program. Organizations can also use experience of the participants as an example to other young people, and encourage them to try to push their boundaries, to participate in international projects and to find a new direction in their lives. The host organization receives positive visibility through the project and will be able to promote interaction between cultures as well as internationalization to Finnish youth. The host organization will also gaine valuable experience in international work, project management and support for young people.
