The Institute Piva from Antwerp would like to organise a learning training mobility for vocational tourism education students in Iceland. The training of 26 days will be in placements into the tourism department ( car-rental - touropartor -tourism offices - musea ,...) in the choice of the student. In Novenber 2014 contacts about the tasks ( f.e. translation at musea ...) where made with placements in Iceland. To support the practical organisation Piva made agreements to Ninukot ltd. ( A placement office in Iceland & partner of Piva in the CHASE network for many years.) Ninukot will organise the local contact with the placements & give support the local administration in the project. For this project the agreement started out of other Erasmus + projects from Piva in the CHASE network with Ninukot. At Piva this project will be a part of a developmentplan created in 2014. The students will overcome mismatches about Tourism in the North of Europe. They can explore the culture & nature themselves in Iceland . The use of English during the placements & the stay in the local culture will incrase the communication skills of the students. Piva likes to provide this project over 2 academic years ( each year about 11 students + 1 teacher ). The accompanying teacher will provide support to the students with learning disabilities & will support to make evaluations at the placements. All students will get a Europass Mobility for this project , the training is also a part of their normal course program, the evaluation will be counted to receive the diploma in vocational education.
